A Certified Blower Door Test is one of the main tools used to identify air leakage deficiencies. Addressing these identified areas is usually 'low hanging fruit' and will help to save money, save energy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions that contribute to climate change.
A qualitative Infrared Thermal Scan and visual inspection of the structures thermal boundary will help identify areas of unwanted air infiltration as well as areas of deficient insulation. Visual and Infrared images will be stored electronically and used as part of the client final report.
The whole-house top to bottom Inspection usually takes 3-4 hours onsite and the final report usually takes up to 5 days to complete.
